A reminder that tomorrow school will get out at 11:00 a.m. and there will not be lunch.
Tonight’s homework is:
Read Naturally, “An Incredible Sacrifice”
Monday: Time your student for one minute and have them read the passage. Carefully watch them read and mark any errors, inserted words, or skipped words. When the minute is up mark where your student stopped, and record this on the first “words read” line. Write the errors they made (mispronounced words, added words, skipped words) on the line bellow. Subtract the errors and write the total number of words correctly read on the cold score line. After this discuss the key words with your student and have them tell you what they read about. You could even ask them questions about the story to check for comprehension.
