*FYI* We still have SAGE TESTING this week Monday through Wednesday. Please make sure your student gets plenty of rest and eats a good breakfast. Also, I will be in Disneyland Monday through Wednesday:). There will be homework but no spelling test. I feel they have enough testing this week. **It is Dr Suess week!!! It is a fun and fantastic week. There has been a lot of planning and thought put into this week. Each day has a theme. Please check the school blog for up to date info on this week. I will try to have them write in their journals about the next day’s theme. We also have a friendly competition with a couple of other classes with reading minutes. Please encourage your child to read every night and if they would read a little extra that would be great.**

**I am sending home a small research project on Tuesday. They have until the following Tuesday to turn it in. They have the directions on what they are to do. They also had clear and explicit instruction on the how’s and what’s of this project. Anything turned in late will be half credit**
